English Language
Challenges
Well, this is the last blog. There were some
that I could not upload or had problems doing so, but I highly value this space
of the subject. Anyway, hi everyone!
To begin with, my experience with the English subject
at the university has had mixed opinions. The previous English ones I had to
find with a teacher who, perhaps because of the online modality, did not give
me any motivation when it came to participating in classes. This semester was
different, because we had you as a teacher and that changed everything.
Personally, it has given me the space to function in public, since I had
developed anxiety problems due to the pandemic (I still have them, but I have been
advancing step by step); you give us a comfortable space to participate,
without pressure, and criticism is always said in a good way (not like my
previous English teachers at this university XD).
I was lucky to have a good base of English at
school, but over the years it’s lost if one does not practice it, and that’s
what has happened to me. I feel that what I lost the most was speaking this
language fluently (I never spoke it 100% fluently, but it was much better than
now hahaha). So I think I need to improve on that. In addition, there are many
words that I had forgotten their meaning and I think that I have also worsened
in grammar. I don't really know how I'm going to improve those aspects, but I
think I'll try to watch more videos in English, without putting the subtitles
XD.
As for the blogs, I think it was a great space
to practice the writing part, which is very important. The topics were always
too entertaining to write enough about it.
About how much I use English nowadays, the
truth is that a lot, but focused on games hahaha. There are many games that are
in English, or perhaps they are translated into Spanish but lose their essence,
so it is better to play them in English. It also helps me a lot when searching
for scientific papers.
Finally, I want to thank you Miss for all the
love you put into making this subject, bearing in mind that there were a few
weeks where we had online classes, and we all know that this is not an optimal
setting for dynamic and entertaining classes, but I still enjoyed them very
much.
Greetings to all!

Hi! 🤍 I hope the same as you to get to speak better and fluent English, and your nice words to the miss, who I think has been an excellent English miss.
